This day may be a another day in the life of many people. But for me in my life of  turmoil its a day I can call
a Judgement day. Today I have decided to stop playing dice with my life and take a chance and take the mantle on myself and to prove that if one has noble reasons no one can stop him or her.

Though from very childhood I had dreamed of becoming an IAS officer but today I want to plan and execute it. I started this task by watching Roman Saini sir's video on Unacademy.
So here's what I plan to do in the subsequent years of my life.
I am currently in my third year of engineering and hoping that I will graduate possibly in 2016.
Then I will prepare myself for ECONOMICS in ISI-D and thereafter take my UPSC civil services examination.

First of all, for the people who are not well aware with UPSC exam pattern. Here's a briefing done by me.
It is a very prestigious exam conducted by UPSC at national level with very high competition.Through this exam candidates are selected for various governmental jobs as an officer.
Generally its the IAS cadre that is highly coveted and it fills up in just 150 ranks for a general category student.
The exam is conducted in two phases. The first one is preliminary test which filters people for the subsequent mains exam which is followed by the final Personality test.
The preliminary test consists of two papers and covers topics of general knowledge of wide coverage. Candidates battle for 400 marks of two papers 200 marks each. For those lucky ones getting through this ordeal have to go through a horrendous series of tests which includes gaping four GS( general studies paper) , one essay and two optional papers total amounting to 1750 marks ( 250 marks each).
After all these written tests people go through a  personality test which accounts for mere 300 marks but its significance is utmost.
Generally people who score 50 percent marks are successful people. And this is no ordinary feat.
Just simply covering the whole syllabus itself is a thing to boast of.
